I love the look and feel of this knife. The weight is good...it feels like it is there and you know it is there but it isn't weighing you down either. The handle and how it feels in your hand fits nicely. There is a bit of a texture to the wooded handle which I am a big fan of! Super comfortable.

Very hard to tell just how great a knife is until it has been used for a year or so...so for now it is completely worth the price.

I enjoy cooking and part of what I enjoy is the preparation. This 8 Inch-High Carbon Stainless Steel Chef's Knife is a whiz in the kitchen. It's substantial but not overly heavy and it is very sharp. The blade has a forged hammer design and is highly polished to a mirror-like finish. The weight is perfect for me. Heavy enough to be effective, yet light enough not to cause any fatigue. The handle fits perfectly in my hand.
This knife comes in a presentation box that's suitable for gifting. It's a nice addition to my collection.

This is a very nice 8" Chef Knife and a nice touch with the hand hammered look to it. The handle is wood and has a nice grain pattern. Hidden blade attachment gives a nice clean look to the handle with no rivets of tang line. Butt of the knife is metal and is a perfect fit with no undercut or over cut of the wood handle.
Knife is very sharp, and blade has a nice thickness to it, so it is very solid. The hammered effect actually helps so certain foods don't stick to the knife blade. So, the hammer effect looks nice and its functional.
Very nice knife that feels nice in your hand. Easily can recommend.

THIS BEAST SCARES ME!

My wife is kitchen master, and she fails this knife around without slowing down. I, however, don't like to go anywhere near it. It's big, scary, and very sharp. If you like knives like this, then this is definitely the one for you.

I'm really impressed with my new Chef Knife. It's super sharp and makes chopping so much easier in my kitchen. Plus, the handle is comfy, and it looks fancy enough to be a gift. Love it!
